Celebrate the beauty of spring with our Spring Bloom Bar to benefit Girls for a Change's trip to Ghana this summer!

"Her Journey Home Ghana 2026" is a year-long, culturally grounded program through Girls For A Change that brings together 15 Black girls (8th–12th grade) from Richmond, Virginia, for a transformational 10-day journey to Ghana — for many, their first time abroad and their first time on the African continent. Rooted in exploration of heritage, resilience, and global Black girlhood, the program is designed to deepen identity, confidence, and leadership through cultural immersion and creative storytelling. While in Ghana, participants will document their experience on film, and upon returning to Richmond, they will edit their footage into a short film that captures their full journey from RVA to Ghana and back home again.

At this workshop you will get to explore our beautiful farm in Western Hanover county as you pick your own flowers from our blooming garden beds. Then our experienced designers will guide you with tips and tricks to help you create a beautiful arrangement. We'll provide all the greenery and materials you'll need to complete your showpiece, so join us on the farm for a fabulous cause! This experience should last around two hours - you are welcome to  bring snacks and beverages to enjoy during the workshop or around the farm after we finish.

We'll meet you at The Freckled Flower Farm ~ 18065 Mountain Rd., Montpelier, VA 23192
