About the event
Join this NEW event in Hanover that invites you to farms all around the county. Eleven Hanover County farms open their gates on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 10am to 3pm. It's free, it's self-guided, and you build your own route.
Highland cows, alpacas, and thoroughbred horses. Cut flower fields and 105 greenhouses. A Virginia Century Farm running some of the county's largest row crops. A private horticultural reserve that opens to the public for one day only. Berry picking, a working farm market, and a Master Gardener demonstration garden.
The stops are grouped across the East, Central, and West sides of the county so you can pick a region and spend the day, or string together a route of your own.
